My good friend Lorie has invited me to her birthday dinner and since her daughter Leiana, who is also Leila's bestfriend, is going to be there, she asked me if I could take Leila with me. I thought it would be a great opportunity for Leila and myself to have a mommy-daughter time. Grandma gladly watched William for us but we did miss him.
It ended up to be a night of good food and a lot of laughter. Most of all, a rare chance to be alone with my little girl.

It's almost a guilty feeling when you leave one at home. On the other hand, you really enjoy just focusing on one. What a great night! I'm sure she loved it!
